Our Background
Meet the crew!

Ashley Saylor, Owner
Ashley's passion for nature started at a young age and led her to pursue a degree in Environmental Science, with a in Natural Resources and Conservation. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern New University and is currently pursuing an Advanced Native Plant Certificate through the North Carolina Botanical Gardens, as well as the North Carolina Environmental Educators Certification. Her love and appreciation for nature is evident in her academic pursuits and personal interests.

Ashley strongly believes that it is our responsibility as humans to take care of the earth's ecosystem and inhabitants. She is optimistic that society can learn to live in harmony with nature again, and that incorporating ecology-based landscaping can be a fun and cathartic experience for homeowners while also benefiting native species.

"Nature is an invaluable resource that provides us with everything from basic necessities to relaxation and stress relief. It is crucial that we prioritize sustainability in order to ensure a healthy future for ourselves and the planet. Without the natural world, we cannot survive. In all honestly, why would we want to?"

Ashley's love for ecology is contagious. She aims to spread awareness and appreciation for nature through her environmental education programs and ecology-based landscaping consultations and services. With her guidance, she hopes that the people she connects with fall in love with nature as she has.

"I hope that I can inspire as many people as I can to advocate for environmental health. If a lot of people did a little, it would make a significant impact."
